What does MilliHash do?

 

It creates a timestamped, publicly verifiable record of a digital asset’s hash. Submit a file or text — MilliHash records its SHA-256 hash with a third-party-signed timestamp and anchors the proof to the Bitcoin blockchain.

Does a registration prove ownership or copyright?

No. A registration proves that a specific hash was submitted at a specific time, as attested by a Trusted Timestamp Authority and anchored on Bitcoin. It does not prove authorship, ownership, or copyright, and it does not supersede earlier evidence of the same content elsewhere.

What security/authentication is used?

 

Public verification endpoints are open — no API key required. Registration and owner actions use a RapidAPI key over secure REST endpoints. Original asset content is never stored; only the hash and proof metadata are retained.
